Delegate data policy.

The Caribbean Health, Wellness & Innovation Summit ("CHWIS '27") is produced by OPEN Interactive. This notice describes how the CHWIS '27 Secretariat collects, uses and protects personal data submitted through this website and in connection with summit attendance.

Data we collect

Registration and enquiry forms collect the name, contact details, organisation, cohort and stated interests of the submitting individual. Where a delegate signs into the portal, we collect the email address and authentication identifier provided by the chosen sign-in provider.

How we use it

Personal data is used solely to confirm registrations, allocate seating and Deal Room sessions, arrange accommodation blocks, issue accreditation, and communicate the Declaration documents within 24 hours of the closing plenary. We do not sell or rent delegate data to any third party.

Sharing with convening institutions

A limited delegate directory may be shared in confidence with co-convening institutions (PAHO, CARPHA, the Healthy Caribbean Coalition, IDB and CDB health divisions) for the purposes of structured ministerial roundtables and Deal Room matching. The directory excludes any field marked as private at the time of registration.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by writing to the CHWIS '27 Secretariat at press@chwissummit.com. Requests are answered within 30 days.

This policy is intended to mirror the principles of the Barbados Data Protection Act (2019) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For a full legal copy, contact the Secretariat.
